While Apple Watch is packed with cool features, it still cannot play music for you as the speaker in the Apple Watch is only for the short and simple sounds.

So if you want to listen to music synced with Apple Watch, you will have to pair your watch with any wireless headphones (as Apple Watch does not have a headphone port) first.

Follow the below steps to quickly connect your headphones to your watch and start listening to your playlist…

How to Pair Bluetooth Headphones to Apple Watch

  1. Put your headphones into the pairing mode
  2. Go to settings on your Apple Watch, and then tap Bluetooth.
  3. Then Apple Watch will start searching for nearby Bluetooth accessories.
  4. And finally, tap the name of your headphones to connect it with the watch.

Once the connection between your Apple Watch and the headphones is established, the status will change from ‘pairing’ to ‘paired’ in the watch settings.

Now, your headphones are successfully paired with your watch and you can start streaming your music.

Start playing the Music on Apple Watch

If you want to control the music directly from your watch then follow the below steps…

  1. Go to Music App on your watch.
  2. Force press the display screen.
  3. Tap on the ‘source’.
  4. Tap again on the Apple Watch to select it as the source to play from.
  5. Finally, choose the playlist of your choice and start streaming the music.

Currently, Apple Watch can only store one playlist so you will have to create a single playlist with all your favorite songs and then select it in the watch.

And Apple Watch supports any headphones supporting Bluetooth 4.0 or Apple’s W-series chip (like the AirPods and Beats products).

Also, keep in mind that certain Apple or Beats products can be connected to your Apple Watch automatically with the help of Apple’s W1 technology which pairs the headphones with all the devices of your iCloud account.

Apple Watch Series 4, launched on Sept 21, 2018, is one of the best smartwatch available in the market. Larger display, lightweight design, and improved speakers are nicer and the overall feel of the watch is good as compared to its older versions.

The Apple Watch starts at $399 for the GPS only version and goes upto $529 for the larger version.

Apple Watch pair with headphones

But the new Series 4 Apple Watch looks very attractive with the new design having a larger screen and more rounded edges.

And having many new health features such as ECG monitoring and heart rate notifications (including atrial fibrillation, AF).

Finally, the Apple Watch is by far one of the best smartwatch designed by Apple and with all the new specs, it is the best smartwatch you can buy right now.

If you can afford it, you should definitely buy it… but if you are looking for alternatives then Samsung Galaxy Watch and Garmin Forerunner 735XT are also available which are best in their own segments.
